What other features are available through the iPad app?
There are quite a few features integrated into the Net Texts iPad app to give students the ability to interacte with their material. Students can take notes on any item, unit, or course and then can email these notes to themselves, other students, or their teacher. Students can take typed or audio notes. The iPad app also syncs with the student's calendar to help keep them organized (due dates, group projects, tests, etc).

Content Managment System

How do I embed a link in the Content Item?
We realize that some websites have a copyright on them that will not allow us to download their content. So teachers can still use this content in their classroom we've created a Content Item that allows teachers to link out to a live website. Once a teacher has selected the Content Item type they must type descriptive text into the text box and then turn that text into a hyperlink - linking out to the website.
Is there a way to communicate with my students from the Net Texts app?
While Net Texts does not specialize in student/teacher communication, it is possible to teachers to send notes or reminders to their students. From the CMS, go to the desired course and select "Push Notifications" from the dropdown menu. There teachers can write a quick note or reminder that is then sent to all students who have downloaded the course.
