Michael Messner Co-Founded Net Texts in 2010 with the goal of improving education through the use of tablets and open educational resources. He is a Co-Founder of Seminole Capital Partners, a global long/short equity hedge fund, and has been Co-CEO since 1995. Mr. Messner is the Co-Trustee along with his wife, Jenny, of The Speedwell Foundation, a family foundation funded in 2001. Grant making focuses primarily on education and green space. The Speedwell Foundation's various philanthropic efforts include funding research at M.I.T. and Georgia Tech, AFS study abroad scholarships, support for inner-city New Jersey schools and technology initiatives in the classroom. Mr. Messner received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975 and a B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1976. He attended graduate school at M.I.T. and received an M.S. in 1980. Mr. Messner is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

He is Co-Trustee along with his wife, Betsy, of The Shelter Hill Foundation, a family foundation founded in 2003. Grant making focuses primarily on education, medical and scientific research and opportunities for the underprivileged. Mr. Shiverick is the Co-Chairman on the board of the Cancer Research Institute, serves on the board of The Clark Foundation and is a member of the visiting board of trustees of the Hawken School in Gates Mills, Ohio. Mr. Shiverick received a B.A. in Geology from Northwestern University in 1975 and received an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College in 1983.
